Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice surprised fans with a live performance in Times Square. The event was also live-streamed to “Fortnite” players. The concert included live in-person performances from the two artists.
Fortnite” also announced its Chapter 2 remix featuring contributions from Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem, and Juice WRLD. A new posthumous album from Juice WRLD is set to be released later this year. In a first for “Fortnite,” players can engage with each artist through themed gameplay locations launching over several weeks.
They can also express themselves with individual artist outfits in the Fortnite Shop. Chapter 2 Remix will end with “Remix: The Finale,” a live event on Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. ET.
To honor Juice WRLD’s legacy, all players who log in between 1 a.m. ET on Nov. 30 and 1 a.m. ET on Dec. 1 will receive the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit.
Live performances in Fortnite
Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, said, “Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others.”
Each week in November will focus on a different artist. Week 1 features Snoop Dogg as the Icon for Season 6 of “Fortnite Festival.” Snoop said, “Being part of Fortnite is all about creating, playing, and sharing my music and culture with the next generation.
Week 2 brings back Eminem following his original Fortnite debut in December 2023.
“Guess who’s back, ready for combat, man! I’m serving all new gear along with a side of spaghetti… come and get it!” said Eminem. Week 3 introduces Ice Spice, offering her unique take as the Princess of New York. “Getting the chance to come to the game and remix the Chapter 2 map is unreal,” Ice Spice said.
Week 4 will celebrate Juice WRLD’s legacy, music, and style. Additional details will be announced later. Epic Games confirmed that Eminem will be returning to Fortnite next Thursday, November 7.
The new Eminem Rap Boy Reloaded Skin will drop into the Fortnite Item Shop on this day. There’s a good chance the three Eminem skins released last year will also be re-released around this time. Alongside the skin dropping into the shop, the Spaghetti Grotto POI will also appear in the game.
This location is filled with rocks, but it will be accessible on November 7. This area will feature Eminem as an NPC who, should you defeat him in battle, will join you and give you the new RG Minigun item.
