Providing an instant peer to peer connection (Using web AIM), Tutorcnx.com allows questions to be answered quickly and effectively, giving you the help you need right when you need it. As the community grows users will be able to have their questions answered instantly and dynamically. Follow-up questions will be able to be answered quickly as the user will still have a connection with the tutor. This will allow for a more helpful question/answer connection than a forum does. The connection between tutor and user happens on the AOL Instant Messenger service. When a user navigates to the subject they are seeking help in on Tutorcnx.com and selects an online tutor, they are brought to a screen with a link to start the connection. Users then connect to the tutor using a web AIM client and the connection is made, allowing for instant response times to questions.
