Apple has released visionOS 2.4, a major update for the Vision Pro headset. The update brings Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI-powered features, and new spatial experiences to users. Apple Intelligence includes writing tools that allow users to refine their text by rewriting, proofreading, and summarizing in apps like Mail, Notes, and third-party apps.
The Image Playground feature lets users create unique images using themes, costumes, and accessories. Genmoji enables users to create original emojis by describing them. Smart Reply in Messages and Mail provides quick response suggestions and ensures questions are addressed.
Natural Language Search makes it easier to find specific photos or moments by description. Create a Memory Movie allows users to create movies by typing a storyline. VisionOS 2.4 also enhances the Guest User experience.
Users can start a guest session using a nearby iPhone or iPad.

Hosts can choose accessible apps for their guests and start View Mirroring with AirPlay from their iPhone.
The new Spatial Gallery app curates a range of spatial content, including photos, videos, and panoramas. Launch content includes experiences from brands like Red Bull and Cirque du Soleil, and behind-the-scenes content from Apple Originals. The new Vision Pro app for iPhone helps users discover spatial experiences and manage their Vision Pro devices.
The Discover page offers recommendations for new apps and games, while the My Vision Pro page provides tips and key information. Upcoming video content includes “VIP: Yankee Stadium”, premiering April 4, and “Bono: Stories of Surrender”, which will be available in both 2D and Apple Immersive Video starting May 30. VisionOS 2.4 is available today as a free software update for Apple Vision Pro.
Some features may not be available in all regions or languages. Apple Intelligence is in beta and available initially for users with devices and Siri language set to U.S. English. Regulatory approval is pending in some regions, including China.
