I haven’t been to the movies recently, and I frankly think it is about time I did some catching up. Coincidentally, I happened to come across this site today and I gave it a good try.
What it does is to produce a dynamic list of showtimes based on either a ZIP code or a specific address that you furnish at the very start of the process.
The information is presented to you under four main columns. These include “Movie”, “Theater”, “Begins” and “Ends”. When you are provided the name of the venue, you are also given its distance in relation to the spot you submitted as point of reference for the search. And you are likewise provided the length of each movie so that you know what you are going to watch beforehand. It is not the same walking into the theater knowing the movie will last 3 hours than thinking it will last only 2. Believe me, that can even make or break the whole movie.
The site would be more appealing if trailers were included – that is a minor complaint as far as I am concerned, but I realize there might be people that will feel that such a thing is a sore omission. Maybe the team behind it would like to add such a feature.
