In the year of its 20th anniversary, Safe Kids Worldwide invites users to learn about their experience with kids and join the organization. Safe Kids Worldwide is the first and only international nonprofit organization dedicated solely to preventing unintentional childhood injury.
It focuses on one specific problem: more children from 1 to 14 die from accidents, such as motor vehicle crashes, fires, drowning, poisoning, and falls, than any other cause. However, this organization believes that almost all of these injuries are preventable. That’s why Safe Kids Worldwide promotes changes in attitudes, behaviors, laws, and environment, to prevent accidental injury to children.
