Readernaut.com – Where Book Lovers Meet Online

Readernaut.comThe term “book worm” is not exactly a term I feel should be used indiscriminately. It does paint an accurate picture, but only because it has a certain offensive power, and that gives it a sort of conciseness that is not really there.

I thought about that when I found this site, and how people might refer to book lovers as book worms. I consider myself as quite a hardened book lover, and I would not like to be called like that. I am sure that many of the users of this new social site would tell a similar story.

Readernaut is an aptly-named resource, and it enables book lovers to share their insight and opinion as regards both classics and new titles in a live setting that lets anybody see what it is that others are reading (“adopted books” in the site’s parlance), and access quotes, comments and reviews in the same place. Note that some spoilers can be found, but a tag that warns you of the situation is prominently displayed.

At the end of the day, this initiative is certain to make the day of any literature adept, anywhere he is located. You can sign up for free and start putting your bookmarks to excellent effect right now.
