Pushnote.com – Read Comments In Real Time
Pushnote is presented as a plug-in that you can get and use at no cost, and that will add a new (social) layer to your browser. The moment you start using Pushnote, you will be able to see what sites your friends are commenting, and you will also be enabled to see the most discussed sites on the Web, along with the hottest topics in general.
Naturally, your friends will also be able to see what you are doing because they can follow you in the very same way that you can follow them.
After spending an afternoon with it, I must admit that Pushnote acquits itself quite satisfactorily. There is little to no need to visit the Pushnote site again once you have installed the plug-in, and the way everything works (with lights going green when a new comment materializes) is certainly spot-on. Conversely, the lack of edit/delete options for comments is a bit frustrating. Hopefully, the next update will have that fixed.
