The Ohio Quarter Horse Association is an affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association. Its main aim is to promote the registered American Quarter Horse within the Buckeye State.
To these ends, its website includes several informational contents along with a calendar of events highlighting forthcoming Quarter Horse-related activities. The organization encourages the breeding and competition of Quarter Horses via a host of programs, and these are described online. Support for Youth Teams that want to compete in the American Quarter Horse Youth World Championship Show along with youth scholarships are provided. OQHA also hosts the annual All American Quarter Horse congress at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. Further resources include a classifieds section which goes by the name of “Swap Shop Classifieds” and a downloads section where past issues of the featured OQHA newsletter can be procured. Information for those who wish to join the Ohio Quarter Horse Association is provided as well.
