I recall reading an article about the quality of modern day animation, and how angry someone at Disney was at shows like South park and Family Guy. He claimed that those shows had lowered the standards so much that any kid today thinks that he can create an animated feature of his own, and that such a piece it will be entertaining and economically viable.
I don’t know if you agree with that or not, but in either case this site will come in helpful. In essence, it is a portal where you are provided with the necessary tools for becoming an animator on any social site that you visit frequently. If you think that the industry currently stands at peril you will be able to do your best and take it somewhere safer. And if you believe that there is nothing wrong with the way animation is done today, then you will be capable of sticking to the approach of South Park’s creators.
