This site is definitely the way to go if you want to find out how the fishes are doing in the seas of Mexico. Kept by a professional journalist, it puts together a weekly mashup of news from some of the top sportfishing destinations in that country, which you can read for free on the site, plus the archives reports ranging back to 2000 are also available.
The kind of information to be found on the site combines weather reports with the fish species to be found on any location, their preferred baits and pictures of the happy fisherman displaying their prey. The site, however, includes lots of useful resources for first time or veteran anglers, including fishing maps, a fish gallery, and highlights of prominent sportspeople. You can also read the story of the featured towns and locations on the site, and get to learn a thing or two about the history and culture of coastal Mexico in the process. MexFish.com is quite unsavory in terms of design, but the fact that each time you click on a link a new tab or window is opened, is just unnerving, and that is definitely not my (or anyone’s) idea of comfortable browsing. I wonder if they can rethink this last bit.
