Libraryweb.org is the on line library for the Monroe County Library System.
This Library system is a federation of 20 independent public libraries. The library system was created as a union to provide service to libraries, and to provide library services for those who needed it. Libraryweb.org is a web site where you can download books, as well as get in touch with the cultural activities of the county. Because reading is not the only thing librarians do, there are weekly columns about movies, music, and more. There are also available maps of the county libraries and the hours they are opened. You can find the local history and genealogy by clicking on that section, and find pictures and resources about the county.
