InsideDesi is a premier online magazine, aimed at the 2.5 million strong South Asian populace of the UK. Its competition being the periodic, paid for, Asian print media which still attempts to fight against the trends of the times.
Founded by Shuhel Miah and Fatema Khatun, two young entrepreneurs from London, InsideDesi aims to harness technology unlike its predecessors to deliver Asian news and lifestyle content in manner which has never been done before.
To add to its mix with technology, InsideDesi is the first Asian Magazine to have a presence in Second Life, which as it’s own autonomous entity, is already mustering up a following… additionally, in the works is a weekly online lifestyle video show which will be aired from the website, and various popular video sharing websites.
