Hilton Pond Center of Piedmont Natural History is an organization that wants to conserve animals, plants, and other natural components of this region, through scientific study, observation, and education. The program is focused in students, even though anybody can learn new things if they visit this site.
At the site you can find information about plants and birds, and you can also access to some previous researches and investigations. There is a very nice photo gallery, where they illustrate some of the topics they discuss in the rest of the site. This organization depends on funds and donations; if you are interested in helping them out, there are some instructions for you to follow in order to make a donation.
