The site clearly explains how to become a member, and the benefits this entails. Basically, in order to become a member one must join his local Real Estate Board. (A list of local Real Estate Boards is provided as part of a PDF file that can be downloaded for free.) Members benefit from legal assistance, and a magazine titled “Florida Realtor”. Likewise, technical support is provided for members of the Association, and there are discount programs as well. Members also have access to Real Estate Forms online. The site has information on the TransactionDesk software, which is a tool for managing business, developed by a subsidiary of the Florida Association of Realtors known as REIS (Real Estate Industry Solutions). The site also has a search tool to find properties within Florida, and a collection of broker tools. Miscellaneous contents include a video tour of the FAR headquarters that can be viewed anytime.
