This is the site of the Center for Auto Safety (CAS), founded in 1970 to provide consumers a voice for auto safety and quality in Washington. Furthermore, the center aims to help “lemon” owners fight back across the country.
CAS has a small budget but a big impact on the auto industry. With less than half what General Motors spends on a single Super Bowl commercial, CAS has taken on the auto giants and won for consumers. The center has had many accomplishments, including the “Lemon laws” that were incorporated in every state to make it as easy to take back a defective car as a defective toaster. Within its website you can access many services by entering the different sections placed at the top of your screen. However, you should join the center and become a member to take advantage of all the benefits offered. This can’t be made online.
