Acgov.org is the official site of Alameda (CA) county government.
In this site, users will be able to find lots of great resources to complete their tax declaration and payment, get certificates, records and permits, official county information, instructions to follow if you’ve been requested to be a part of a jury, voters registrar and press releases. The site also features a multimedia area, where users will be able to find live audio broadcasts of county government meetings, and in-depth video reports covering community issues, like the wellbeing of public libraries and other local initiatives. The online services area includes several useful features, as it allows users to pay for their parking tickets, taxes and fill several application forms, like the ‘Decline In Market Value’ or the ‘Vote by Mail’ one. At the site, users will also be able to find information on job opportunities and Small Business programs, plus information for the companies that might be interested in working with/for the County. The site is not very nicely designed, but it is definitely very easy to use and very useful as well.
