Ymcatwincities.org is the website of the YMCA or Young Men Christian Association of Greater Saint Paul, Metropolitan Minneapolis.
The YMCA is a non-profit social service organization dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Although having Christian bases, they welcome women and men, girls and boys of all ages, races, religions, sexual orientations, abilities and financial circumstances. Its mission is to develop the total person: spirit, mind and body, through character development programs. The YMCA provides focused programs and services; some of them are Active older adults, American Red Cross certifications, Camps, Child care, Community programs, Day camp, Family, Fitness and wellness, Home school, Sports, and a lot more. All of these can happen thanks to thousands of volunteers that make it possible for the YMCA to change the lives of kids, teens, adults, and seniors. They contribute their time, talent and resources to help the YMCA mentor kids, coach sports, teach swim lessons, send kids to camp, and other activities.
