WikiVotr is a cool way to check out new cool articles that have been posted to Wikipedia. Like Digg, users submit their favorite articles and others can vote as well, so that the most popular articles make it to the top page.
The “upcoming” tab shows the latest articles users have submitted to WikiVotr. It´s easy to see the latest information being added to Wikipedia by checking out the “new articles” tab, showing a feed of the latest contributions as they come in. It´s a fun way to learn a lot about what´s new and what other people are finding interesting. The site was only recently launched, so there´s not much content that has been voted on, but as it grows, this could be a really cool way to spot some of the most interesting content on the free public encyclopedia.

“As an avid Wikipedia user himself, WikiVotr founder Grant Bartone wanted to create a website where Wikipedia users could come to discuss interesting Wikipedia articles and also discover new articles that others though were interesting. Grant is also a fan of the social bookmarking site Digg, and thought that a similar voting system would be the best way to easily find Wikipedia articles based on popularity.
