This service could either be extremely useful and fun, or potential hotbed for stalkers. It could really swing either way, and while I really wouldn’t prefer to be in a social network where they pin a thumbtack to my home and work address, maybe some do. It’s looking pretty good right now, their mapping and chat features are developed right from the same page. I like their idea of making the social network local again, making the friends you meet more relevant and with more common interest points.

Could there be a liability if someone’s personal and property rights are infringed? How will they generate hype and revenue? One of the things I felt was very frustrating about their interface was that they had pop-up bubbles which constantly crowded my view of the dashboard and entire screen. Will they make these a little less intrusive?
