It’s never easy to throw out something that your child created lovingly from their own hands. The fact of the matter is that you have to be a severe pack rat to really hold on to all of the little pieces of art created by your child.
ThePicassoKid is a startup that allows you to send in your child’s artwork and have it turned into original books. You can either digitalize the content yourself (costs less) or have the folks at ThePicassoKid do it for you. Once digitalized, you pick a style of album that you like and then have it created for you. There are a variety of ways of sending them the digital images whether by uploading to Flickr and sharing the link or through an FTP site.
ThePicassoKid.com In Their Own Words
“The Picasso Kid developed as a result of our struggle as parents to find a solution to saving and displaying our children’s school art. Our kids bring home an average of 3 pieces of artwork a week. Starting with pre-school, that amounts to thousands of pieces of artwork by the time they graduate from high school.”
Why ThePicassoKid.com It Might Be A Killer
Parents will love not having to throw away all of their kid’s artwork and instead have it made into great albums.
Some Questions About ThePicassoKid.com
Have they considered offering an entirely digital service? Currently, won’t books of children’s artwork take up even more room than the artwork itself was taking up?
