The Movie Tracker is a new recommendation system that aims to (sort of) get in your head and based on what you have watched recommend new movies for you to try out.
The way in which the site works involves creating a detailed profile that will capture down you entire movie viewing history, and then employ that information in order to recommend new (and old) titles that you might want to check.
This profile takes into account both these movies that you have loved and the ones that left a bad taste in your mouth, and for it to work at least five movies have to be submitted. Additionally, the site weighs up aspects such as if the movie was actually watched online or at a cinema before concluding anything.
Also, an effort has been made to offer discount movie tickets so that you are brought one step closer to watching these movies that are suggested as good matches. AMC, Regal, and National Amusements are among the partner companies so far, and (if all goes well) more should join in before too long.
