By now I am no longer surprised when I come across a community site whose appeal is either to insular or circumscribed to become an intercontinental success. The ones who do come up with these sites know that to begin with, and making it to the top of the hill is not really their one concern.
This community site brought all that to mind because its appeal is somehow limited. You see, on the site people can post designs for T-shirts. These are voted upon by all the members of the community, and the ones that amass the higher amount of votes are eventually printed and sold on the website.
As it was to be expected, those designers whose shirts reach the necessary votes to be printed are provided with an “About the artist” link on the site.
When it comes to buying anything, the site couldn’t be clearer as you can see the sizes available and print information (IE, ink, the kind of tee it was printed on…) at a glance. You can also look at these shirts that have won previous contests.
