Tastespotting.com is a subsidiary of NOTCOT.
com (short for not couture), a design website that is also associated with some others. Basically, what Tastespotting is all about is posting links to food blogs. So, when in Tastespotting.com, you will be faced with literally thousands of very nice looking pictures (all about food), going from Maraschino Cherries, to Flavor Queen plots, to Coca leaves. When you click on them, they will redirect you to lots of different food and culinary blogs (all of the ones I saw where on Blogspot, but I can’t tell for certain if they have some kind of exclusivity with them), with other interesting photos, reviews and comments. So the contents on TasteSpotting.com will not leave you in aw, but the pics are quite cute, and some of the info posted on the blogs they redirect you to is quite interesting (coca leaves blog highly recommended).
TasteSpotting.com In Their Own Words
“TasteSpotting.com was launched January 2007, because designers get hungry too, and we are in awe of how delectable the finds on food blogs both look and taste! So, realizing that the passion of food lovers is often as intense as those who contribute to NOTCOT.org we’ve created this space for like minded people to descend upon and share what delicious dishes, posts, images, products, ingredients, etc. inspire their great tastes.
We’ve teamed up with Sarah, of The Delicious Life and Slashfood, who loves food the way NOTCOT loves all things aesthetically enticing… We are thrilled to see how many people we can help to drool at their monitors on a daily basis!”
Why TasteSpotting.com It Might Be A Killer
Tastespotting.com is a very nice looking website, with nice pics, which are really links redirecting to blogs about food and everything similar to culinary arts (wines, etc). It is a great site to stop by if you are a food lover, and you have absolutely nothing to do.
