The site is then subdivided in two main sections – one for music fans, and another for artists. The section for music supporters also includes an industry sign-up, so that it can be said that every angle is covered.
Artists can upload both their tracks and videos, and punters can review them. Bands can also play a “Battle of the Bands” in order to gain visibility and (hopefully) be discovered. Of course, dates on upcoming gigs are prominently featured.
Ultimately, the site lets anybody have a better representation of the way the indie scene is constituted. Indie is one of the best-loved genres if only because there is so much passion and enthusiasms at play. If you are not familiar with it, this site could be a fantastic introduction to the genre.
