Anyone who has monitored their own blood sugar levels or watched someone who has knows that it is not easy. SugarStats aims to simplify and augment the old paper-and-pen daily log process by allowing those with diabetes to track their blood sugar levels online.
The site will then create statistics and graphs to discover trends and provide better diabetes management. In viewing the sample screen shots, I was impressed with the ease of use and the interface, which allow for keeping a food journal and then seeing the attendant blood sugar levels, which allows the user to track what foods trigger high sugar levels and to spot patterns. All information is kept secure and private. The site is free, with premium paid services, and hopes to launch in Summer of 2007.
