In general terms, Sprouter is a new platform that enables entrepreneurs to network and collaborate together. Both budding and established entrepreneurs can obtain feedback in real time, and also promote events where they are based.
CEO Sarah Prevette explains that this initiative was born out of her own experiences when working on another project of hers named Upinion.com and eventually realizing the difficulties that every person goes through as regards self-promoting his or her own vision and spicing the interest of others – in short, connecting with the right people at the right time. The idea is to ask others who are part of the network a simple and direct question: “What are you working on?”. In this way, the relevant connections can be made and fruitful conversations can be started.
As Sarah also explains in the video interview you can find attached below, a collective approach is always stronger than an individual one. It is hard to disagree with that concept, really. The contact and interexchange with others always brings fresh ideas to the table, and something positive will sprout out as a result. That is the inspiration driving this platform along, and I think it can occupy a remarkable position upon gaining the necessary recognition.
Note that for the time being Sprouter is only available to those who have an invitation. We will have many invitations available for you soon. Check it out and find what others are working on right now, and see who are in your wavelength. See more at StartupLucky.com
