The premise of this site is quite unique: people who are spammed (IE, every single one of us) can post the most ludicrous subject lines of these messages here for all to see and laugh at how inane spammers can get. These then become findable by subject, and the ones that can be deemed as the funniest can be read in the section that has been created solely to host them.
Some sample subject lines featured on the site: “we know what you did last summer”, “never leave without nostradamus”, “all your problems solved by me”, and (a priceless one) “because harry potter said so”.
Spam is so infuriating that is good to see something remotely funny come out of it. That doesn’t make this site useful in the true sense of the word, but I did smile quite a bit when I checked it out. I am not that sure I will check it back often either – I probably won’t. But I give the ones who did it credit for thinking about something fresh.
SpamSubjectLines.com In Their Own Words
“SpamSubjectLines.com was created to allow you to share your hilarious spam subject lines. Every day millions of people get bombarded with spam email messages. By the end of the week, you may have upwards of 100 or more spam messages sitting inside of your inbox. The majority of spam messages are nonsensical and completely incomprehensible. However, for every bunch of spam emails you receive, there is usually at least 1 straight up hilarious and/or ridiculous ‘gem’ in the mix. We created this platform to enable users to share these messages with the world.”
Why SpamSubjectLines.com It Might Be A Killer
