Snimmer’s a new Meebo-like service which lets you keep in touch with all your IM buddies at once. Apart from its IM service, Snimmer has its own social network.
Users can upload their photos and fill out their profiles with personal info. Fellow Snimmerers can chat with one another using Jabber or GTalk to create their own chat rooms. The site currently supports MSN, GTalk, AOL and ICQ. You can instantly invite all your friends (and all your contacts for that matter) simply by checking the relevant box; you’ll have all your acquaintances hopping on the Snimmer train, or sending you puzzled emails. If you’re up for chatting and networking with people you can actually see, at least from their profile photos, Snimmer’s just for you.

Some Questions About Snimmer.com
Snimmer will send your entire contact list invites if you’re not careful. This type of spam won’t win it any brownie points, unfortunately. Will Snimmer be able to convince users of its worth? Or will users be turned off by its annoying sounds and incessant mails?
