Smcvt.edu is the website of Saint Michael’s College.
Its mission is to contribute through higher education to the enhancement of the human person and to the advancement of human culture in the light of the Catholic faith. And it aims to achieve this through its many services. It offers liberal arts, thirty major fields of study, and makes emphasis on honors, independent study, independent research, internships and study abroad. It has 440 acre campus, situated between the shore of Lake Champlain and the majestic Green Mountains in Colchester, Vermont. This College welcomes 2000 undergraduate students from 33 states and 13 countries. Saint Michael’s College has 150 faculty members that result in a ratio of 12 to 1 student-faculty. The shared vision for Saint Michael’s is to be a nationally known residential college, where a liberal arts education is grounded squarely in the excellence of the humanities disciplines and also includes academic offerings that encompass the arts, social, and natural sciences, information systems, communications and management studies, and an array of interdisciplinary programs.
