Sikhnet.com first went on line in 1983.
Their aim is to create a space for sharing the Sikh experience and the presence of the Sikh Dharma. On the main page of the web site there is a navigator bar containing diverse links, such as: daily news, voices, Seva, inspiration, straight talk, the arts, reviews, audio, video, people, food and health. There are also two other sections featuring similar entries and news links. The former contains: Film Festival, Bani Pronunciation, Syndication, etc. There is a community link as well that includes: a Gurdwara Map, Sikh Matrimonials, Sikh Chat, Event Calendar, and a discussion forum. The lifestyle link features an introduction to Sikhism, Sikh Dharma Manual, Siri Guru Granth Sahib, Khalsa Yogiji Lectures, Turban Tying Tutorials, etc. The news section features daily news, voices, Seva, straight talk, reviews, and many more. Some of the things you can download are children stories, Gurbani Fonts, Screen Savers, Shabads, etc.
