SelfPortrait.net – A Social Space for Artists

SelfPortrait.netSelfPortrait is a new hangout/marketplace/event calendar social networking site for artists. Aesthetically it may remind you slightly of MySpace; but the site has a somewhat cleaner, pared down appeal about it, and the featured artists do have more than just a modicum of talent.

The site features arts of all categories–phography, film, writing, studio arts, fashion and dance; and artists can post their works and sell them too. Images, music, clips, movies, etc. can be loaded on site; each profile page features a music player, chat box, and a graphic rating chart, showing each of your artistic categories, and their respective ratings within the community. The site looks promising; it´s features some quality content, and artists will get some exposure.
