SearchtheBeat is a new video and music search site which uses Google Ajax. The home page features a tag cloud but you can simply type in your query if you´ve got something specific in mind.
Search results pull up YouTube and Google video thumbnails and parent directories for MP3 files. To download MP3´s you´ll be taken to the hosting site, however videos are embedded on SearchtheBeat so you can watch them directly. If the results are less than what you expected SearchtheBeat directs you to Google for more results. While so far, MP3 listings seem to come up short, and videos can be watched on YouTube, SearchtheBeat does compile a fair amount of content. No registration is required and it´s free to use.
