The Scout movement began in England back in nineteen hundred and seven. It was started by Robert Baden Powell who had been a lieutenant in the British army.
His aim for the group was to help young people develop physically, mentally and spiritually so that they could perform constructive rolls in society. Since its humble beginnings the scout movement has grown into an international group with over thirty eight million active members around the world. The scout movement has had to adapt over the years and learn to keep up with modern developments. One such development can be found on the internet. If you are a scout leader at any level of the scouting organization then you might be interested in taking a look at a web site called www.scouttrack.com. This web site is a useful tool that can be used by scout troops all over to help them manage all the data that is involved in there troop and the individual troop members qualifications.
