org relies on drop dead simplicity. It helps users bring order to the chaos of big events, conferences, festivals and the like. With an Ajax interface, the calendaring tool is pretty streamlined and chic. You must sign up to use it. Afterwards, the events of the day are presented within their own tab. Each happening appears in a color coded box—making it simple to digest in one glance. Hovering over an even will pop open a detail box giving you a brief description of the event. The popular event section gives you a taste of where the popular events are taking place, while the public schedule page lets you see who else is coming. Schedules can be grouped together and people can be invited easily.

Sched may not exactly be the next Twitter but it does add a keen visual flexibility to figuring out event schedules and goings on. It’s got nice visualizations so you can easily find out what’s going on where and who’s going to. Besides that, it’s not overloaded with features, but it does have enough functionality to let you make the most of your schedules.
