ScaleNine is a site designed to provide you with the latest skins for Flex and Adobe AIR, which you might have known as Adobe Apollo. Their default themes can be, well, a little lame, so why not liven up your Flex and Air with a freshly whipped up skin from ScaleNine? Every skin was developed with CSS and graphical skinning techniques by the website owner and operator.
The programmer also accepts skins from those who are willing to design and submit them.
ScaleNine.com In Their Own Words
ScaleNine was created to share a variety of skins and themes I created, as well as those created by others. Initially they were created for use with Flex, but can also be used for Adobe AIR (formerly Apollo). It also serves to potentially provide a means of broadening the graphical user interface options beyond a default theme.
All the themes have been created using graphical skinning techniques and CSS, as opposed to programmatic skinning. Some of my themes are more involved than others, but all are meant to be used as quick solutions for creating a different looking user interface. In the future I may elaborate on some of my creations if there is a demand for it.
Why ScaleNine.com It Might Be A Killer
These skins are looking pretty tight, and while there are so many sites out there that provide skins for say, your LimeWire, there are hardly any which solve the problem of a lame Adobe Apollo (I’m sorry AIR) and Flex; great software which deserves an equally nice theme.
Some Questions About ScaleNine.com
Will he the programmer be able to develop enough skins for the masses? How about having a more user generated friendly environment, where you can access pages made by amateur or professional coders?
