Repatoo provides a facility for online auction users to automatically collect, aggregate, and display their feedback profiles anywhere on the internet. This frees Repatoo’s users from being tethered to a particular e-commerce site enabling them to quickly establish a trusted relationship in any peer-to-peer exchange environment.
This is done by having users associate and authenticate their feedback-bearing auction accounts to their Repatoo account. They can then create dynamic ‘badges’ to display in their auctions, online profiles, and email signatures.
Repatoo is the only player in the nascent reputation management market to not simply focus on the major players in the e-commerce arena (namely, ebay, amazon, etc.). Repatoo currently supports more than 20 auction sites, a number which continues to grow.
The simplicity with which users can set up and manage their account makes adopting the tool quick and painless. Once set-up, users feedback is automatically updated for each site that they have associated to their Repatoo account.
Users can then get usage reports that tell them where their badge is being displayed, how many people have seen it, and how many have clicked-through to see their feedback. This provides them with a great barometer for not only how important feedback is to potential buyers, but also how many people are viewing their auctions on disparate websites, helping them focus in on which sites are giving them the best selling opportunity.
