Reask can be defined as a search engine with a social aspect. This social aspect is felt in the results that are displayed whenever you look anything up. You see, instead of providing you with a series of computerized recommendations, what Reask does is to produce a list of human search results.
The way this is implemented is quite simple, really. When looking anything up on Reask your query will be submitted to other online users, and those who are knowledgeable will be able to submit their own answers. If you are not satisfied with any of these results. then you can simply proceed to carry out a new search a couple of minutes later. Other users will be able to see your query then, and (hopefully) provide you with the insight that you need.
Reask, then, can be termed a true search network. Interactions are based on nothing but the search queries that are submitted by others. As a concept, it is interesting. Personally, I think I would stick with a Q & A website for the mere reason that you can see and learn even more about the person who is offering his insight at once. But the idea that lies at the core of Reask is not bad under any concept.
