As it name denotes, the Real Flight G4 R/C Simulator is a software that reproduces R/C flying on your personal computer. The player can opt for solo practice, fly with a friend, or even go for a multiplayer competition online.
The simulator comes in 4 CDs (all of which must be installed), and includes a controller which resembles a 6 channel transmitter, and can be solely used to select and modify every aspect of the game, without resorting to the mouse or keyboard. Some features include a list of airports to take off from, water takeoffs and landings, wind modeling, different viewpoints (like transmitter view, and a binocular view for close-ups), and a virtual instructor, who is in fact a real-life pro who has lent his skills to the makers of the game. The online multiplayer mode also features a chat function, which livens things up instantly. One of the notable aspects of this simulator is the attention that has been paid to the physics of the airplanes themselves, resulting in a believable R/C experience.
