Take down your AIM buddies with QQ Games. QQ Games is the product of China-based Tencent, a leading internet company that’s behind the hugely popular instant messaging platform QQ.
Now they’re trying their luck in US waters. The stateside version of QQ Games is a free online gaming platform designed for multiplayer fun. The aim is to build community, catch up with old friends, and make new ones through casual gaming. The service works with AOL’s AIM. So far games include Treasure Hunter, Match Master, Pool, Black Jack, Crushathon and many more. Simply download the game of your choice and once you’re in you can choose to join a game in progress or start a new one. Settings are customizable. Each member has a unique profile and users can commune in one of the QQ Games Forums. The service is free.
