Call me picky, but I still think institutions, especially those who are related to science, tech or computers should have professional-looking websites. The people at the Piedmont Technical College either don’t agree with me, or don’t have enough budget to afford professional web design.
Other than the design mishap, the information and resources available from the site are very thorough and useful, listing academic catalogue, financial information and even career prospects. If you are feeling a bit lost about what the best option might be, don’t miss the Career Path area, where you will be able to find detailed information on what each degree will teach you and prepare you to do on your professional life. This two-year college offers a variety of tuition modalities both for undergraduate and postgraduate programs which include distance learning, and you can find out details about it in the site as well. It would be nice to be able to read information on research projects, or maybe get links to students’ blogs to be able to get first-hand knowledge of what kind of work is done on college.
