PlusClout.com – Measure Google Plus Influence

PlusClout.comTo many, measuring the influence people really have on social services has always been a number one priority. And that’s anything but surprising. Take a site like Twitter, for example. Most people see it as nothing but a self-promotion tool, a service that lets someone cultivate a personal brand. Everything else about the service comes second. To them, Twitter is something that is used in order to pitch what one (and his company) can really do.

Thus, applications like Twitalyzerwere released back in the day – applications that let people measure how influential any Twitter user really was, based on criteria such as number of followers, daily tweets, retweets, mentions…

And now that Google Plus is one of the most promising social services around, it makes sense that some will be interested in knowing who’s better and who’s best there. Well, PlusClout is the first service that’s been created to these purposes.

It makes for measuring how influential one is by taking into account posts, comments and +1’s. PlusClout scores go from 0 to 100, and all you need to have one calculated is to supply the person’s Google Plus ID (IE, the string of numbers found in the URL of his profile). His PlusClout score will be computed right away, for you to know whether getting acquainted with him would be a good move or a waste of time.
