Planyp.us – Make plans with your friends

Planypus.com offers friends an easy way to make plans in advance or at the last minute.

On Planypus.com one “organizer” can post a tentative plan, notify all friends invited, receive ideas and feedback, and find a consensus. A plan is born. Planypus.com is the easiest and fastest way to notify all friends, of invitees, about a specific event by doing away with the hassle of making a bunch of phone calls or emails. Once the organizer(s) post a plan idea, Planypus.com will send the information to the email, website, or phone number (sms) provided by the planners. All plans are private and can only be viewed by those invited or planning. Once an idea is sent out, invitees can add their opinion, thus creating a set of options, which then the group can vote on. Plans are made the democratic way and everyone has an equal say. Planypus.com also has an events calendar for specific cities, and a friends network. An invitee does not need to be a member to receive the notifications and interact on the site.

Planyp.us In Their Own Words

“You’re about to go out to the movies. You called up maybe a couple people, maybe dropped some emails or sent some text messages. But the movie starts in an hour and you don’t want to spend it trying to organize your friends to go. All it takes is ten seconds on Planypus to let your friends know you’re going to the movies, and they can organize themselves to meet you there. It’s easy!”

Why Planyp.us It Might Be A Killer

If you’ve ever been “the organizer” of your group of friends, it’s time to breathe easy. Your apathetic friends now will get a fair chance to make a suggestion from the privacy of their own phone or computer. Planypus.com takes stress off of the organizer and spreads the responsibility to all parties. Getting a consensus from a bunch of friends is relatively difficult and the best thing about Planypus is that opinions can be made privately, so everyone has a chance to voice their opinion. And for those friends whose ideas always are lame, there’s a vote to keep them quiet. Additionally, the cost (time and money) of calling and texting is on the rise and saving money is on everyone’s mind…this idea could really save some big bucks.
