InCircles has created a new IM client called Pladeo, ushering in a whole new era of internet chat in real time on your webpage. Pladeo’s platform offers a customizable chat box you can embed in your website, blog, or social networking profile to chat with visitors or friends on your page.
Pladeo immediately recognizes a new vistor on your homepage and then, without any signing up or installations, allows them to chat with you inside your personalized box. Alternatively, InCircles also allows you to connect with friends and viewers via, what they call “CM” or “Concurrent Messaging.” Essentially this means you can have a group chat of selected friends in real time straight from your webpage.
InCircles offers a few customization options, and the only “signing up” you will have to do is put in your email. From there, you choose which layout you would like, which color you would prefer, then input your webpage address and then InCircles will generate the code for you. Copy and Paste this code in your website, Pladeo adapts easily to any website and functions over several filters and widget impediments.
pladeo.com In Their Own Words
“Unlike existing IM networks that restrict you to one-on-one conversations with people you already know, InCircles is the first truly distributed CM (Concurrent Messaging) network that connects concurrent web users en masse!
InCircles immediately detects a user”s presence on a website and allows them to communicate with everyone else – in a group with select friends, privately one on one and collectively on the web page itself.
InCircles can be embedded on millions of sites – unlike their competitors, InCircles technology also functions over many common filters and widget impediments (e.g. MySpace). Simply drop the code on your site once; thanks to a Flash-based frontend, all future updates will be automatically pushed to the user when their page is refreshed.”
Why pladeo.com It Might Be A Killer
Pladeo is definitely surfacing at the right moment, as facebook applications, social networking add-ons and re-coding is becoming so popular. When I tried to embed Pladeo’s code into my facebook, nothing came up. However, the website has gotten positive reviews from other users, perhaps it was an error on my part. Otherwise, setting up took a few seconds, and I was quite impressed with the velocity, truly chatting in real time in the demo.
