You don’t need to have traveled a lot in order to have a good understanding of buildings and locations the world over. That is what dawned on me upon toying around with this website.
Basically, Placefy is an online game in which you are presented with pictures of famous (and not so famous) locations, and then you have to guess the name of the country from four provided options. The more correct answers you have, then the more points you accumulate and the more popular you will become among site users. Easy. And fun, I must add.
Note that you can also tweet out your score and become the envy of the neighbourhood, or tease your foreign friends based on the fact that you know more about their own cities than they do. And it is also possible to post your score to Facebook.
I have bookmarked the site, as I found the difficulty curve perfectly devised. Either the one who came up with Placefy was an expert playtester or I know more about Europe than I would never have thought.
