This site is for all those who feel there should be a way to integrate status updates with their actual profile pictures on Facebook. PicStatus.com will let them do exactly that (and quite smoothly, it must be added).
On this site, people can choose a blurb to be added to their profile pictures. These can be anything: quotes on life and transience by famous authors, pokes at ex girlfriends and boyfriends, self-effacing messages… all the things that you could include on a status update can be used as the content for any of these blurbs. You are actually enabled to type the status down yourself, or choose from any of the many categories which are offered and save time (not to mention that quoting someone like Gregory House is the absolute height of coolness)
On the site, categories such as Love and Happiness go hand in hand with others such as Drama, Advice, Sarcastic Humor and Crazy. And quotes by luminaries such as our good old Doctor House and David Blaine are filed under their respective names.
