Picalogo.com – Scan Logos And Get Coupons

  • October 19, 2011

Picalogo.comAll together now: scanning QR codes is a bore. We all have better things to do than to fiddle with our phones and try to position them perfectly just to get a QR code scanned. We need something faster, the kind of service even our grandpas could use and get right the first time around. And you know what? One such service has just become available. It’s named Picalogo, and it does without all these QR codes we’ve learned to know and, well, hate. It blasts them away to oblivion, actually. And it has them replaced with the logos of any venue that we’re at.

This new mobile service lets us take a photo of the logo at any venue that we find ourselves in, and not only get coupons to use right there but also check-in automatically to services like Foursquare. It’s all done just by pointing the phone’s camera at the logo you have nearest, and Bang! taking a gorgeous still. That’ll do it. You’ll get the coupons that can be had at that place, and you’ll be checked-in without having to do anything else.

The Picalogo app can be downloaded for free at the App Store. It’s still in beta, but it works as it should.

Picalogo.com In Their Own Words

The first one click check-in and coupon delivery app!

Picalogo iPhone app enables you to get coupons and check-in to various services – like Foursquare and Facebook places – merely by taking a picture of the logo of the business you’re in! It’s everywhere in the business.
