PeopleTrusted is a website where consumers can voice their opinions about products and companies – and not just other websites, but real products. The site aims to bring credibility and social reputation to products, services, and companies by allowing users to say whether they “trust” a company or not.
To give feedback, you have to register to use the site – but you don’t have to actually use the product first. You just give it a rating to say if you trust it, presumably based upon the company’s profile, what you’ve heard from others, and your previous usage of their goods. Companies can’t yet register themselves with PeopleTrusted; as of now the site only offers a few companies to give feeback for.

The site needs to develop a bit before it can go further. For example, it doesn’t yet allow users to submit companies or products, so it has very few listed. Also it doesn’t have any search methods, tags, or categorization, so all of the companies are lumped together. People need to know where to find a specific product or company on the site.
