OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Watch 3 will be released on February 18. The watch will be available in the US, Canada, and Europe. Pricing details have not been revealed yet.

However, OnePlus is offering a $30 discount for people who sign up for updates. The OnePlus Watch 3 has an impressive battery life. It can last up to 16 days in power saver mode and five days in smart mode.

This is 20 hours longer than the previous model. Heavy users can get up to 72 hours of battery life on a single charge. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to a full day of use.

OnePlus is using two chipsets to balance performance and battery life. The Snapdragon W5 performance chipset and the new BES2800 MCU Efficiency chipset are used. The Watch 3 also has improved battery technology.

The capacity has increased from 500mAh to 631mAh. OnePlus promises lower power consumption. The Watch 3 supports WearOS.

It has a new bezel made from titanium. The sapphire crystal screen makes it more durable. It will come in two colors: emerald titanium and obsidian titanium.

OnePlus says the Watch 3 is a good choice for people who want a strong and long-lasting smartwatch. Celina Shi, Chief Marketing Officer for OnePlus Europe, explained the technology behind the battery life. “Our software seamlessly switches operations between these two chipsets.

This lets the OnePlus Watch 3 run with maximum efficiency. It strikes the perfect balance between peak performance and extended battery life,” Shi said.

The watch uses dual chipsets. Wear OS 5 is powered by the Snapdragon W5. The Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) is powered by a secondary BES2800 MCU chip.

This allows the smartwatch to optimize its battery life by switching between high-power and low-power operating systems as needed. The battery capacity has been increased to 631mAH. It uses the OnePlus Silicon NanoStack Battery, the same technology used in the latest OnePlus flagship smartphone.

This boosts energy density for long-lasting power. Shi also said the OnePlus Watch 3 would bring more accuracy to sleep-tracking features. It will provide users with rich data about their sleep patterns and quality.

“Sleep underpins your daily activities and energy levels. So we are offering an accurate picture of your sleep quality to help improve health and wellness,” she said. The OnePlus Watch 3 introduces a rotating digital crown, similar to the Apple Watch.

It also has a titanium bezel and sapphire crystal face. This new feature is in response to community feedback. It is designed to offer both functionality and an alternative way to navigate the device.

“With the ability to both press and rotate, the rotating crown makes navigating through apps and menus efficient and intuitive. It enhances the overall user experience,” Shi added. Specifics on health and fitness features were not disclosed.

But Shi hinted at a focus on durability and rugged design. The OnePlus Watch 3 is available in two colors at launch – Obsidian Titanium (black) and Emerald Titanium (green). It is designed to withstand various outdoor activities.

“Our focus has been to provide a highly accurate fitness and sleep-tracking tool that lasts longer than needed and looks great while doing so,” Shi noted. Pricing details are yet to be announced. But the OnePlus Watch 3 will be available in North America and the EU.
