The NOSSCR was founded in 1979, and as of this date the association id made up of more than 3,000 attorneys and paralegals that represent security disability insurance and supplemental security income claimants. The website provides all the information a prospective claimant should read before contacting the association, in order to make for a smoother claimant-attorney relationship. For instance, a section titled “Need Representation?” covers the basic points of said relationship and more, whereas a list of available materials is also very illustrative. Moreover, general guidance in terms of social security and income tax is provided in the pertinent section. The site also contains organizational information, such as the complete list of individuals that make up the NOSSCR Board of Directors. In addition to that, a list of job opportunities at NOSSCR can be perused online.
