A Nintendo Switch 2 Star Wars game has potentially been leaked ahead of the reveal of the new Nintendo console. According to various rumors and reports, the Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to be officially announced soon. The newly leaked Nintendo Switch 2 game is reportedly not a brand new Star Wars game developed specifically for Nintendo Switch 2.

According to a GamesIndustry writer and gaming consultant, Camilo, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is in the works for the Nintendo Switch 2. It remains unclear whether it will be a launch game, a release window game, or a release year game for the new console. Given these uncertainties, its release could potentially be as late as 2026, though this seems unlikely.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released back in 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It never came to the original Nintendo Switch, though it did release on PS4 and Xbox One last year.

Nintendo Switch 2 rumors persist

Now, it’s reportedly being lined up for the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s possible that it could also be released on both generations of Nintendo consoles; however, Camilo’s mention focuses solely on the Nintendo Switch 2. This information should be taken with a grain of salt, as the source has little to no track record of leaks.

This doesn’t rule out the possibility, but it’s worth considering. Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Upon release, it garnered an 85 on Metacritic and sold well.

A third game in the Star Wars Jedi trilogy is in development, though it has yet to be formally announced. As of now, neither EA nor Nintendo have commented on this rumor. If there are any updates, we will provide them as they become available.
